Because after three days of shooting in the desert, ya girls NEED a watermelon marg!
Yes, we just wrapped up a week full of photoshoots, pool parties, and all the girl hangs at The Saguaro in Palm Springs (our favorite rainbow hotel, if you haven't noticed by now). And after traffic in 103 degree weather for what felt like forever, a pit stop in between Palm Springs in L.A. was a must. And the chips and guac at On The Border was calling our name!
Life has been super busy for both of us lately (in a good way), but we don't get to "happy hour" together as much as we typically like. We think it's important for us not to just be business partners, but to keep our friendship a priority. And what better way to do that than over tasty drinks at a broke girl price?! Those watermelon margs you see...yeah, $4 on Thursdays! It was so nice to just sit on a patio and drink, talk, and chilllllll. :)
We ordered chips & guac (duh, have you met us?), a frozen watermelon marg (which is seasonal, get it while you can!) for Cort, a Poncho Punch for Jen, and some delish grilled fish tacos to share! It was the perfect break in our long drive back to L.A.!
Don't forget to slow down occasionally, y'all. It's good for the soul (and the tummy).
Peace & Love,
Jen & Cort
