5 Favorite Shops to Get Art Prints!

Y'all, let's talk about home decor. Seriously one of my favorite things to buy, talk about, write about. Whatever. Give me a choice between a new rug and a new car....and I'd really have to like, go home and think about it before making my decision. ;)

And I don't know about you guys, but as a blogger, you feel this sort of pressure for your home decor to live up to everything you see on Instagram. And I realize that these are photos that people put work into (i.e. they made sure their home was pristine and everything was in its place before taking them), but still, it's like almost this unwritten rule is out there, that before you post it on Instagram or Pinterest or whatever, your home has to live up to these certain standards? Anyone else feel me? For me, this isn't even necessarily a bad thing. I mean, let's be real, I set unrealistic goals for myself all the time because I'm ridiculously competitive, but it's challenged me to really define the style of my decorating, and to also figure out easy, temporary, but also cute ways to decorate our rental apartment! And now we're bringing it full circle...ART PRINTS! Art prints are a heeeuge addiction of mine. They add personality, color, texture, you name it. And they're definitely part of the Unwritten Blogger Handbook of Secret Rules. ;)

So, I thought I'd share some of my favorite shops to buy these babes!

1. Society 6

If you're in the blogosphere at all, I know you've heard of this. One of the most crazy, cool, unique online shops around. They literally have everything, all made by independent artists (which is one reason why I really enjoy buying things from them), but their art prints are just the coolest. The first image on this post, Margarita, can be found on Society 6! Here are a few more of my favorites at the moment:

2. Urban Outfitters

It's no secret that both Jenna and I love Urban. A good part of my closet and home come from Urban Outfitters, so of course I love their prints too. You can usually find prints from the same few artists (which I like), so it's not just like a mass production of one art print. They're unique, and they change pretty frequently, and they're not generic. So here are a couple of my faves!

Ice Cream by Debbie Carlos (also let's just talk about how PERFECTLY SWIRLED THIS ICE CREAM IS! The OCD me is so happy looking at this.

3. Grow House Grow

So, a little pre-cursor to this. Grow House Grow isn't exactly a print shop. They specialize in wallpaper, fabric, tile, and other home customization. BUT, I've also become quite fond of framing wallpaper samples! You can occasionally buy a sample of the wallpaper and it works great framed as an art print! My current favorite (and next purchase) is this one:

4. Minted

Minted also has a super wide variety of prints, from abstract to landscape to just about anything you could imagine. And it's also a variety of independent artists! Catching my drift there, y'all? Support your small businesses! :) Here are a few of my favorites as of late from Minted!

5. Etsy

Again, there is absolutely no way you haven't heard of Etsy, but I buy so much from Etsy. Party supplies, coffee mugs, clothes, and yes, prints on prints on prints. We've met a few gal pals on Instagram who have a killer Etsy shop (KileyinKentucky & DixieandTwine to name a couple). Here are some current faves I've found while scrolling through!

Hopefully these recommendations can help you out on all your home decor adventures! K, I'm gonna go buy more prints now, bye. ;)

Peace & Printables,
