Girly Garb: Cali Chic- Summer Prints

As we've said before, we both love donning statement pieces. Jewelry, hats, shoes, lipstick, & the list goes on. Because every girl needs something in their outfit to give it that "pop." And one trend we've noticed popping up everywhere this season are bold prints. You see them in dresses, rompers, shoes, purses, and just about everything else! Whether they be bold black and white prints, or more bright and colorful, you notice most people around you accessorizing with these bold statement patterns! Or at least we notice. And by notice, I mean sometimes follow people shamelessly down the street asking loudly, "Where did you get that? I want it!" *shrugs shoulders.*

Here, we're showcasing two 100% trending (and two of our favorites) print styles for the season with a bright floral patterned dress (worn by Cortney), and a bold black and white geometric print integrated into a layered look (worn by Jenna)!

It can also be easy to shy away from bold patterns for fear that you can't "pull them off." Trust us, we're also two "let's buy everything in black" kind of gals, but try to challenge ourselves to try out new trends, even if we think they may not be for us. Fact: we usually wind up loving them.

So, be confident! Wear a bold print or a statement piece that you like, whether you think you can pull it off or not! You might turn some heads, but if you walk with your head held high (with confidence & not like a snob, duh), those double takes aren't such a bad thing. ;)

Cort's go-to: Any sort of floral pattern, big or small!

Jenna's go-to: Bold stripes or polka dots!
